🌵⚡️ Hailing from New Hampshire and Maine, Regals delivers a powerful blend of Alt-Country and Americana Rock that's as haunting as it is unforgettable. 🐍💥 Like any good road trip snack, we are a blend of sweet and salty, with sober Sunday morning harmonies following debauched Saturday night howls and hollers.  Though any band fronted by two songwriting dudes on acoustic guitars is sure to raise the eyebrows of anyone who likes to stay awake, we take pride in putting groove far enough forward to stir the innards of even the very most caucasian.  The rhythm section stays true to their rock and roll roots and if you find your foot stops tapping, your head stops bobbing or your hips stop moving, find the nearest defibrillator.  As proud as we are to share original tunes, we are empowered to take liberties with covers, stripping them down to their essence and building them back as we see fit.

Scuffletown and Matty Metcalfe have been shaking stages from Nashville to Dublin for longer than they care to admit. Their swampy, high-energy brand of Americana is tinged with influences from delta blues to modern alt-country (with just a touch of jazz, swing, zydeco and bluegrass thrown in for good measure), and their combination of acoustic and steel guitars, harmonica, flute and accordion reimagines familiar songs as well as their acclaimed originals. With the recent honor to represent Americana music at the prestigious Willie Clancy Festival, the illumination from Scuffletown continues to glow ever brighter!

The Folk Music revival of the 1960s set guitarist Jim Prendergast on a sixty year journey that took him from busking on the Left Bank of Paris to the recording studios, orchestra pits and producer’s chairs of Nashville.  Come hear songs and anecdotes from this “60s folksinger who got in way too deep.”

Virginia's Kendall Street Company are no strangers to having a wild time. The genre-fluid, eclectic rock ensemble has drawn varied comparisons to the dynamic jams of Umphrey's McGee and Widespread Panic, songwriting of John Prine, experimental psychedelia of Pink Floyd, progressive jazz-infused rock of Frank Zappa, and off-color humor of Ween and They Might Be Giants. Let's celebrate 40 years in the making! And how sweet it is!

Forty years ago (1986) a band was formed around U.N.H. with a desire to play as much as possible. That desire grew to touring New England, and then the U.S. sometimes for four months at a time. As Truffle built a following the old school way, they headlined respected venues, as well as supporting their heroes on stage; The Band, Little Feat, the Radiators, as well as their contemporaries of the day; Phish, Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler to name a few. After two independent releases, they signed with November / Sony to release ‘Nervous Laughter”. They have released two more since then as well as compilations and six of Gerard’s solo records. They have recorded with Bill Payne (Little Feat), and earned numerous awards. The accolades are many, but mainly they are still at it with only one summer pause in forty years. They have learned how to weave music into their lives and the wonderful music-lovers who support them. They will be celebrating at the Stone Church on 9/26 with guest musicians Scotty Shetler (sax) & Rockin’ Jake (Harp) playing music from their catalog as well as some of the swampy favorites that helped shape them. Don’t miss it!
