FRIDAY 3.3.17 The Annual March Mandolin Festival returns to the Stone Church! David Surette hosts. This promises to be an outstanding night of music! Don’t miss it! The 15th Annual March Mandolin Festival will again present two concerts of world-class mandolin music. This year’s lineup will feature Carlo Aonzo, Tim Connell, and Steve Roy, as well as David Surette and Susie Burke. Concerts will take place Saturday night, March 4 at the Concord Community Music School in Concord, NH, the host and sponsor of the weekend festival, as well as Friday night, March 3 at the Stone Church in Newmarket, one of the Seacoast’s premier venues for live roots music. Expect old-time and bluegrass, Celtic and French/Canadian, Italian classical, jazz, blues, folk and acoustic rock, all of which serve to highlight the versatility and musicality of the mandolin and the evening’s performers. The festival is particularly excited to welcome Italian virtuoso Carlo Aonzo to NH for the weekend. SATURDAY 3.4.17 The six members of Diesel and the Dinos are from the seacoast of New Hampshire. Lead by the young soulful voice of Hayley “Diesel” Gregoire, this band of seasoned musicians perform classic rock tunes by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Amy Winehouse, Linda Ronstadt, The Beatles and many others giving them a fresh sound. 6PM // FREE // ALL AGES

SATURDAY 3.4.17 Since their conception, ten piece Funk/Soul band West End Blend has been playing their version of Funk and Soul in venues all over the Northeast. Fronted by vocalist Erica Bryan, the band pays homage to classic throwback sounds while adding their own distinct vibe and flair. Behind her, the Blend packs a four-piece horn section, two guitars, bass, keyboards and drums onto stages every night. From humble beginnings in an epic sweaty funky basement dance party, the Blend’s goal has always been to bring that same atmosphere to every show ever since. Broca’s Area is a four piece future soul band based out of Hartford, Connecticut that is a unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and soul music. Pushing the envelope of these styles towards jazz gives you the multidimensional, polyrhythmic band that is Broca’s Area. Hosted by longtime host Dave Ogden, and with a friendly and talented sound engineer, our Open Mic gives you the chance to showcase your talent in a professional yet welcoming environment, on a stage that has held the likes of Phish, Bonnie Raitt, Aerosmith, Grace Potter, The Wood Brothers, and more!.
